這不是電影！龍捲風肆虐美國 夫婦抱2月幼子躲地下室逃死劫
美國中部愛荷華州，6/19日突然遭到多個龍捲風侵襲，強大風力摧毀工廠及建築物。一對夫婦向媒體表示，龍捲風發生當時，他們趕快帶著2個月大的兒子逃進地下室，幸運逃過一劫。
住在馬歇爾敦（Marshalltown）的摩茲（Stephanie Moz）說，她和丈夫當時在經營的服飾店內聽見龍捲風來襲警報聲響，丈夫出門查看後馬上折返要她帶著孩子趕緊躲進地下室：「它就朝著我們過來。」

龍捲風吹襲愛荷華州馬歇爾敦（Marshalltown）、佩拉（Pella）和邦迪蘭特（Bondurant）3個城市，其中馬歇爾敦的情況最嚴重。當地時間約下午4時37分，龍捲風吹襲馬歇爾敦，多棟建築物受損，遍地滿佈磚頭，有房屋屋頂遭吹走。當地唯一的醫院亦受影響，全部共40名病人須轉送至其他醫院。
狄蒙市（Des Moines）國家氣象局（National Weather Service）氣象學家克魯利（Alex Krull）表示，當日早上預測模型的資料顯示，僅有些微可能會出現強烈雷暴，並沒有預計到會形成龍捲風。當局現時仍未確認龍捲風的總數和強度。
